This, in a nutshell, describes perfectly the way I see most non-technical folk relate to computers. They’ve just been hit so many times by software that makes no sense to them that they approach every task with fear and uncertainty—instead of making users more productive (and, therefore, happier), software makes them more depressed.

Kürzlich musste ich das auf meinem PowerMac G5 (Baujahr 2004 und immer noch im produktiven Betrieb) installierte Xcode 3 auf die letzte noch für die PowerPC-Plattform verfügbare Version aktualisieren: 3.1.4.
Ein gar nicht so leichtes Unterfangen, weil Apple ältere Versionen seiner IDE auf seinem Webauftritt versteckt. Doch es gibt Version 3.1.4 immer noch zum Download:

Anschliessend bestätigt man die E-Mail-Adresse, loggt sich in den Store ein und kauft nach Lust und Laune nur für den us-amerikanischen Markt erhältliche iPhone Apps, Musik, Filme und TV-Shows ein.

Folgende Applikationen erhält man derzeit nur im US-amerikanischen iTunes Store:
Der schweizerische iTunes-Account ist natürlich weiterhin gültig. Im iTunes Store kann man sich nun beliebig aus dem einen Account ausloggen und in den anderen einloggen. Ich achte darauf, dass ich die normalen Käufe mit meinem schweizerischen Account tätige, weil diese Käufe über die Kreditkarte abgebucht werden.

The ASA requires an AnyConnect Mobile license (L-ASA-AC-M-55XX=), as well as either an AnyConnect Essentials (L-ASA-AC-E-55XX=) or AnyConnect Premium Clientless SSL VPN Edition (L-ASA-AC-SSL-YYYY=) license, where XX is the last two digits of your ASA model number and YYYY is the number of simultaneous users. Please contact your Cisco account team to acquire licenses for testing.
